ReplyDelete-He approves
My parents both smoked heavily--washing the walls was a routine chore. Coincidentally (???), I have asthma and get bronchitis way too often.
ReplyDeleteI have had this same conversation with doctors about a dozen times:
Doc: How long have you smoked?
Me: I don't smoke.
Doc: Well then how long did you smoke?
Me: I have never smoked! {except for 10 cigarette when I was 18}
My parents both died relatively young from brain aneurysms. I know I can't say that was directly related to their smoking, but it didn't help!
PS - Every time my sisters get a headache they freak out a little.
Both my father and grandfather do. Let's just say that if my father keeps going the way he does, he would most likely look and breathe the way my lolo does now.
ReplyDeleteadults don't take too kindly to health advice, I've noticed...but i do hope I can spring something, have him change his mind or something like that.
Oh, and rick, kids who live with smokers are more prone to getting asthma exacerbations, and bronchitis and the like. part and parcel of living and growing up with smokers...
Sorry to hear about your parents...
