On outsourcing

No outsourcing here: Jobs that are staying put. <-- I read this article after finding it in one of my random clicking moments. I commented, because I felt it had a really weird flavor to it...as if it was condescending. Subtly sarcastic...well, to me, at least.

The message it was trying to say was something like, "Hey, Regular Joe, you've busted your ass working on college, are you just going to stand by and let some foreigner take your job away from you?" I don't know about you, but it felt pretty mean. Employees from other countries can't help but give out work performance that exceed expectations from investors. The "less expensive" labor costs are part of the major draw too, if I might add.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems condescending. A little more careful word-work, if you please.

(psst...what do you think?)
